From August 7 to 10, 2025, Agrigento will host the ninth edition of FestiValle, the international music and digital arts festival held in the breathtaking setting of the Valley of the Temples. Set against one of the world’s most iconic archaeological sites, FestiValle has established itself as one of the most anticipated cultural events of the summer, attracting an ever-growing and cosmopolitan audience—especially in this year, when the Sicilian city has been named the Italian Capital of Culture. The festival offers a unique experience, blending music and culture in extraordinary locations. Among these, the Tuff Quarry of the Valley of the Temples stands out—a magical and symbolic place where it all began. It was here, through the labor of enslaved workers, that the stone used to build the grand Doric temples of the 5th century BC was extracted. Today, this millennia-old quarry is transformed into a natural theater, the Teatro dell’Efebo, immersed in nature and rich in history. Its name derives from the discovery in this area of the marble statue of the Ephebus of Agrigento, a masterpiece of classical beauty that testifies to the site’s historical significance. The Ninth Edition Lineup One of the festival’s headliners is Vinicio Capossela, who will open the Tuff Quarry stage on August 7 with his unmistakable blend of songwriting, literary influences, and mythological imagery. Another highly anticipated act is The Fearless Flyers, making their Italian debut with a single exclusive date on August 10. This American supergroup, a side project of Vulfpeck, boasts an all-star lineup: Cory Wong, Joe Dart, Nate Smith, and Mark Lettieri—ready to set the stage ablaze with their explosive mix of funk, soul, and groove, previously showcased at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and North Sea Jazz Festival.
